Abstract PL 56, County Road and City Street Finance: Form FHWA 536 Study- Fiscal Year 2024 The purpose of this project is to complete form FHWA-536 for Kentucky for Fiscal Year 2023. This will cover the period of time between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024. To provide the needed data for this study, the Kentucky Transportation Center (KTC) will obtain pertinent information from fiscal year 2023 county and city financial data housed in the offices of the Kentucky Department for Local Government. Additionally, KTC staff will coordinate efforts with the League of Cities, the Lexington Fayette Urban County Government, and the City of Louisville to gather needed information from the financial statements from these sources. The needed information will be gathered from these sources and analyzed to complete Form FHWA- 536. • Disposition of highway-user revenues • Revenues used for roads and streets, identified by source and type of funds • Road and street expenditures identified by purpose or activity
