Description

This proposal is to support the New York City Administration for Children''s Services (ACS) in its ongoing implementation of the Family First Prevention Services Act. These efforts include the following tasks. 1. Level of Care Tool Selection Support: a. Support ACS in their efforts to define a set of assessment tools applicable to support level of care determinations for youth in out-of-home care placements. b. Support the ACS selection process for a level of care tool designed to support placement decisions for youth in out-of-home care placements. 2. Level of Care Algorithm Design Support a. Support the development of an algorithm to support level of care determinations for youth in out-of-home care. b. Develop strategies for building and testing a level of care algorithm based upon the tool ACS selects for level of care determinations. c. Conduct level of care algorithm testing using the tool selected by ACS.
