Policy Analysis for the Kentucky Council for Developmental Disabilities

This agreement is in accordance with The Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, PL 106-402. The purpose of this title is to assure that individuals with developmental disabilities & their families participate in the design of and have-access to needed community services, individualized supports, & other forms of assistance that promote self-determination, independence, productivity, & integration & inclusion in all facets of community life, through culturally competent programs authorized under this title. The purpose of this project is to provide an information base to support the development of the public policy capacity of the Kentucky Developmental Disabilities Council (KDDC). The public policy efforts will be organized around areas of emphasis of the Developmental Disabilities Act.
