Prenatal Education Summit Event

We propose hosting a one-day Action Plan Summit on Prenatal Education and Support in Baltimore MD to bring together the original consensus group members and about 50 top medical & genetics experts, researchers, bioethicists, government officials, legislators, and local and national parent advocacy group leaders to better determine some of the key problems we still need to solve, including effectively disseminating resources to more clinicians and patients, ethically balancing the growth of testing with support and education, supporting vulnerable populations undergoing testing, funding a prenatal educational infrastructure, highlighting models of excellence, and creating an action plan.
