Private Pesticide Applicator Database

The University of Kentucky contains within its organizational structure the Cooperative Extension Service with offices in each County in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the Department of Entomology. The Department of Entomology currently provides the training materials for the Cooperative Extension Service for private and commercial applicator training. The Division of Environmental Services of the Department receives the record of training from the Cooperative Extension Service, enters the record into a database and issues a certification to the private applicator via the US mail. The issuance of certification at the time of the completion of training would remove the possibility of undue delays and would be economical and efficient.
