Grants and Contracts Details
Description
The program narrative for FY 2015-2016 remains the same as FY 2014 – 2015 with the exception of the changes in personnel and funding. Please see changes listed under the headings Personnel (page 1) and Funds (page 3).
Government agencies spend billions of dollars on goods and services every year. It is imperative that small businesses have the opportunity to bid on these contracts. Along with the opportunity to bid they must have resources to assist them in navigating through the murky waters of government contracting to help them not only bid but win some of these contracts. The Kentucky Small Business Development Center (KSBDC) is excited to offer PTAC services to assist in growing Kentucky’s economy while helping businesses grow their revenue through government contracting.
KSBDC will partner with the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development (CED) and other local organizations to provide services. CED and KSBDC are currently working together to provide the bid-match program in Kentucky. CED is currently providing procurement assistance and will continue to do so until a DLA PTAC is created.
