Program Income: National Coordinating Center for Public Health Services and Systems Research

Grants and Contracts Details

Description

The National Coordinating Center for Public Health Services and Systems Research (PHSSR) and the National Coordinating Center for Public Health Practice]Based Research Networks (PBRNs) work in parallel to expand the production and application of high]quality evidence concerning the organization, financing, and delivery of public health services. With the integrated activities of these two centers under a common organizational structure and operating strategy we have strengthened existing program operations, launched important new research and translation initiatives, and positioned the combined center for long]term sustainability. Both continuing and new activities of the combined center will be integrated within four cores devoted to: (1) extramural research programs; (2) intramural research and methods development; (3) stakeholder engagement and translation; and (4) administrative support and coordination. The Centerfs PHSSR and PBRN activities will maintain their unique and distinctive identities as two closely]related programs administered through a shared core infrastructure.
