Description
As part of the Project GO Program, the University of Kentucky and its Arabic Language
Program will provide overseas language instruction for ROTC cadets in Amman Jordan,
consisting of 8 weeks and 160 contact hours to ROTC students who will be recruited nationwide
with the goal of helping each student reach an ILR 1 proficiency level.
The “UK Project GO Arabic Program” consists of either an 8-week, 1st year Arabic,
immersion summer or an 8-week, 2nd year Arabic, immersion summer in Amman, Jordan, which
will be taught in cooperation with Qasid Arabic Institute.
