This study seeks to identify factors that support and constrain the development of entrepreneurial activities in a rural region marked by persistent poverty and rapid economic restructuring. It will apply a multilevel, multidisciplinary perspective that interrogates the relationship between selfefficacy and entrepreneurial community culture in influencing entrepreneurial intentions in rural Kentucky.
