To increase teacher professional development leader knowledge that would "piggy-back" on, enhance, and leverage current literacy teacher professional development programs by focusing primarily on the integration of Kentucky Core Academic Standards into the new Leveraged Adolescent Literacy and Learning Initiative on the assumption that "college and career readiness" is a goal best advanced through professional development at school grades closest to college entry.
