Description
The USWEP has been designed to aid those students located in the Lexington Community College Setting to
take part in pre-BSW course work that will allow them to matriculate into the Public Child Welfare Certncation Program at
UK. Once these students have completed 30 hours of course work at LCC, they would be applicable (based on admissions
criteria) to matriculate directly into the PCWCP at UK. The Program Coordinator will be design a course that will de~lop
an interest and understanding of public child welfare providing out of class experiences in the local agency and speakers to
heighten interest in the field of public child welfare
