Description
We will be working with the NRCS to provide technical and laboratory analysis support for their ongoing soil survey and mapping projects in Kentucky. We will be performing routine analyses, such as particle size, mineralogy, and base saturation, CEC, and base cation concentration. We will be doing this analyes in conjunction with the activities of the Soil Survey in Kentucky and the KY State Soil Scientist Steve Blandford. This agreement will include $10,000 over a five year period, from Oct. 1, 2019 to Sept. 30, 2024. Additionally funding is available in subsequent years.
