Quaternary and Surficial Geologic Mapping for Geotechnical and Geohazards Applications in Kentucky

Grants and Contracts Details

Description

Our original proposal included two separate projects: one working from the Henderson office, and one working from the Lexington office. Since the submission of our proposal in November 2012, we have had two senior personnel depart the KGS Mapping Section, and have had to reorganize our geologic mapping team. For 2013-14, the KGS Mapping Section will be completing the deliverables as a single team with a significant overlap of responsibilities, to develop more experience and standardization among our younger staff as quickly as possible. As per our discussion with Doug Howard on June 6, we are submitting only one revised budget sheet (instead of two plus a summary), because we will be operating as a single project team this year. In future proposals and mapping cycles we anticipate returning to a multiple-project format.
