Radiative Corrections and Neutrino Scattering

Grants and Contracts Details

Description

We are going to evaluate radiative corrections to neutrino-nucleon and neutrino-nucleus scattering applying effective field theory techniques. The next generation of experiments requires to achieve a percent level control over charged-current neutrino-nucleus interactions while radiative corrections to processes with electron neutrinos exceed a percent level. Based on the precisely evaluated elastic neutrino-electron scattering, we formulate radiative corrections in neutrino-nucleon and coherent elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering. We also evaluate the Coulomb corrections in neutrino-nucleus scattering applying soft-collinear effective field theory technique.
