Reading First Coach 2007-2008

Scope of Services: Under the leadership of the KDE Reading First Staff, the Reading First (RF) Coach will provide consultative services, professional development, and technical assistance to Reading First districts/schools, primary teachers, and K-12 speciai education teachers throughout the Commonwealth. The RF Coach will work directly with the District and School Reading First Coaches. The RF Coach will assist schools in strengthening reading curriculum, instruction, and assessment programs grounded in scientifically based reading research. The RF Coach will serve as a liaison between the Kentucky Department of Education, public universities, local districts, and various Reading First partner agencies.
