Description

The work involved is that of site Principal Investigator in a large multicenter research project. The following is involved: obtaining initial and continuing IRB approval, hiring project director and research assistant for the clinical site, maintaining positive working relationships with physicians and other clinicians at the site, coordinating timely completion of all study activities, training project director and research assistant in conduct of the study intervention, auditing 15% of study intervention sessions, monitoring study progress, submitting required reports to overall study PI, monitoring adherence to study protocols, maintaining data confidentiality, and attending yearly meetings with all study site PIs. Approximately 1000 patients with acute myocardial infraction will be enrolled from this site and randomized into groups and the PI oversees all of the associated activities.
