Regional Energy Partnership

The CAER will provide a representative whose focus will be the development and coordination of energy research projects across the Commonwealth. In addition, the Center will organize a series of conferences, summits and short courses for business, industry and individuals to learn about new energy technologies and have opportunities to discuss pertinent energy issues. Specifically, the CAER will work with the Kentucky Department of Energy Development and Independence (DEDI) to develop a series of energy summits which involve local officials, business, industry and citizens with the purpose of imparting the importance of energy as a platform for local/regional decision making. In support of the local strategies the CAER will assist in identifying appropriate projects for development and funding sources for those projects.
