Regional Energy Partnerships - Kentucky Regional Offices

Grants and Contracts Details

Description

Due to the increased public interest in addressing the future energy needs of the Commonwealth, the University of Kentucky Center for Applied Energy Research (CAER) has seen a substantial increase in requests to help with coordination and technical oversight of regional energy development projects. Simultaneously, CAER has a need for field locations and regional partners for demonstration projects in both Eastern and Western Kentucky. Within this context, CAER would like to be able to provide technical assistance in addressing energy technology needs more broadly throughout the Commonwealth as well as play a coordinating role between local, state and federal funding opportunities and local government agencies, industry and entrepreneurs seeking to develop new energy projects.
