Research Support on the Contractors Workforce Development Assessment Survey (FU-NDED)

Abstract The proposed research aims to formally report analyses completed thus far by the researchers on the NCACP dataset and to also perform and document additional analysis as directed by NCCER. Objectives and corresponding deliverables include: 1. Identify how demographic characteristics influence the response to the Contractors' Workforce Development Assessment Survey; 2. Identify whether latent structure exist among tool's 38 elements through factor analysis 3. Identify appropriate weights of the tool and if weighing by "type of contractor" is needed. 4. Develop a framework of the tool that incorporates the weighted elements; 5. Assist in the developing a validation framework for the tool and analyzing the responding results of the validation effort afterwards 6. Finalize the 2009 National Craft Assessment Certification Program Report.
