Set Aside Funds: Validation of Biomarkers of Risk for the Early Detection of Lung Cancer Dr. Timothy Mullett will serve as the Investigator of the University of Kentucky subcontract. He will oversee all subcontract efforts at the University of Kentucky and liaise with Drs. Massion and Grogan at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Mullett will oversee the following tasks to be performed at the University of Kentucky: - Identification of eligible patients for the prospective study cohort - Registration and consenting of patients into the study cohort - Completion of CT scan and FDG-PET/CT imaging and serum fungal tests as standard of care for each patient within timeframe as specified in study protocol - Proper collection and shipment of specified biospecimens (blood) for each patient within timeframe as specified in study protocol - Proper collection and reporting of specified clinical, testing, imaging and diagnostic data for each patient as specified in study protocol - Participation in scheduled conference calls and study progression efforts
