Description
UK Forestry Extension will assist the Kentucky Division of Forestry in the outreach component
of their “Restoring Bottomland Hardwood Forests to Improve Watershed Health” project. This
assistance will include the development of landowner field day(s) within the proposed
bottomland hardwood project areas that educates woodland owners on bottomland hardwood
management. Additionally, UK Forestry Extension will assist the Kentucky Division of Forestry
in the dissemination of bottomland hardwood educational materials to woodland owners in the
bottomland hardwood project areas.
