Rev1 and Carcinogen-Induced Lung Cancer

The major goal of this project is to generate Rev 1 conditional knockout mice for future studies of lung cancer. The aims are (1) to generate Rev1 conditional knockout mice; and (2) to test the hypothesis that mice deficient in Rev1 are deficient in DNA damage-induced mutagenesis in cultured cells derived from the Rev1-/- transgenic mice (mouse embryonic fibroblasts).
