Dr Shaddox has extensive experience with clinical trials in periodontal disease, as well as microbiological and immunological assays of periodontal disease, as attested by her previous funding history and publications. The activiates that will occure at the University of Kentucky will include DNA sequencing sequencing and gingival fluid (GCF) and saliva Luminex analysis (inflammatory markers) on samples previously collected and currentlyh being house on site. Data interpretation and preparation of results and assistance in writing manuscripts.
