RSF 20, Administrative Support for the CVISN Program

Kentucky’s Commercial Vehicle Information Systems and Networks Program is recognized as a leader in the National CVISN Program. As the program continues to move forward, it will be essential to have a high level of staff support to carry out the critical day-to-day activities that keep the program on track. This project will provide for the general support functions necessary to keep the CVISN Program on-track and moving forward. These activities will include, but not be limited to: • Arranging meeting, issuing invitations, preparing meeting materials, etc.; • Planning, scheduling, and making arrangements for periodic CVISN retreats; • Preparing minutes and summaries of CVISN meetings and retreats; • Fostering communications among all CVISN stakeholders within Kentucky; • Gathering and disseminating information related to Kentucky’s CVISN program (this includes responding to requests for information from internal and external stakeholders); • Representing Kentucky on national committees, working groups, and ad hoc teams; • Providing technical assistance and support in designing and implementing systems; • Preparing project descriptions, system documentation, etc.; and • Tracking progress of CVISN-related projects.
