RSF 46, CVISN Program Support

Kentucky’s CVISN team is made up of a diverse group of agencies working together to meet the national CVISN goals and advance Kentucky’s expanded CVISN program. The Kentucky Transportation Center at UK has been asked to serve as the facilitator of the Kentucky CVISN team and provide administrative, technical, and logistical support for the program. This project will provide for the general support functions necessary to keep the CVISN Program on-track and moving forward. These activities will include, but not be limited to: • Arranging meeting, issuing invitations, preparing meeting materials, etc.; • Planning, scheduling, and making arrangements for periodic CVISN planning meetings; • Preparing minutes and summaries of CVISN meetings and planning meetings; • Fostering communications among all CVISN stakeholders within Kentucky; • Gathering and disseminating information related to Kentucky’s CVISN program (this includes responding to requests for information from internal and external stakeholders); • Representing Kentucky on national committees, working groups, and ad hoc teams; • Assisting with CVISN data quality issues that are internal to the state; • Investigating technologies or systems of interest by the CVISN team; • Providing technical assistance and support in designing and implementing systems; • Preparing project descriptions, system documentation, etc.; • Assisting with CVISN-related training as needed; and • Tracking progress of CVISN-related projects.
