Description
The Kentucky Transportation Center (KTC) will purchase a replacement thermal imaging system for the Laurel NB weigh station to replace the current inoperable thermal system. KTC will investigate how well the new system performs. Based on these findings, KTC will also install a thermal imaging system(s) at the Lyon County weigh station(s) on I-24. The objective of these installations will be to increase the types of violations (mentioned above) identified through inspection by 50%.
