Description
The University of Kentucky Research Foundation will
obtain human salivary samples required to complete the
study. The University of Kentucky will ship aliquots of
samples to the University of Texas in a regular and timely
manner. The University of Kentucky will evaluate
diagnostic markers in saliva using gold stan d ard,
biochemical assays. The Uni versi ty will handle data en try
and statistical management of data derived from the
evaluation of biomarkers in saliva to validate the
accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of the multi-analyte
chip-based sensor developed at University of Texas.
