Description
SUCCESS in Speech-Language Pathology: Strengthening Under-Served Communities through Enhanced Student Support leverages and augments our existing infrastructure, expertise and retention resources to increase diversity in Kentucky’s medical laboratory workforce. SUCCESS aims to: 1) Target recruiting efforts to reach more educationally disadvantaged students from Kentucky, with a special emphasis on students from Appalachia, 1G students and URMs; 2) Increase enrollment of educationally disadvantaged students, including URMs, each project year; and 3) Retain at least 85 percent of SUCCESS students through graduation.
