Description
The goal of this project is to ensure individuals with ID/DD across the age span have equal access to all forms of health care by creating and making available equitable policies, bioethical standards, and medical protocols to the medical community.
Project activities will be conducted collaboratively across multiple University Centers for Disabilities nationwide.
The Human Development Institute, will lead in the gap analysis, develop, validate and disseminate protocols as it relates to pre-natal counseling to the medical community.
We will also help in the meaningful engagement of families, self-advocates, and the medical community in program implementation and design as it relates to pre-natal counseling.
HDI will also conduct the formative and summative evaluation of project activities
