Description
For the 2020 StateMap Supplemental program, the Kentucky Geological Survey will provide information
and digital data to support the NGMDB Phase 3 efforts at national 2D and 3D compilation. This will
include a report on stratigraphic correlation issues with each surrounding state, conversion of existing
statewide 1:24,000 digital geologic map data and associated databases into GeMS format, conversion of
an existing Precambrian basement map to GeMS format, and generation of statewide 2D bedrock and
surficial map coverages in GeMS format.
