Description
UKCI travel grant will be used for “Sustainable Development for the Mineral Industry”
Conference from June 25 to June 29, 2017 in Beijing China. The area of sustainable development
in the mineral industries is very important since mining is an international discipline. This is the
first time that the SDIMI meeting will take place in China and the possibility for further
collaborations between Chinese Mining Institutions and the Department of Mining Engineering at
the University of Kentucky will expand.
