Self-Assembled n-Tpye Semiconductors for Sprayable Photovoltaic Devices

The University of Kentucky group will prepare new n-type organic semiconductors based on fullerenes in support of the current effort on self-assembled materials for sprayable photovoltaic devices. Working closely with the Geo Centers group, we will provide a variety of solubilized fullerenes for study of their film-forming properties and photovoltaic behavior. Becuase we already have one successful material (PCBM), we expect improvements to occur rapidly.
