Proposed Scope of Work University of Kentucky, College of Social Work Training Resource Center Pandemic Relief – Foster Youth Support July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022 The University of Kentucky College of Social Work (CoSW) will partner with the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) to conceptualize and implement a program to support the success and self-sufficiency of current and foster youth. This program will utilize federal pandemic relief funding to support foster youth and former foster youth with employment skills, life skills, and sustainable housing. The CoSW will employee a cadre of service professionals to focus on assisting and supporting current and former foster youth through one-to-one service provision to include: call center, pandemic relief services, community resources, community referrals, housing supports, and life skills. These activities will be incentivized for participants and eligible participants will received monetary funding through federal stimulus payments.
