Description
This project will look at the latest technologies of machine control and identify parameters that could be exercised on all highway projects where machine control would always be a feasible work item. This project will also help facilitate the continual development of the Kentucky Continuous Operating Reference System (KYCORS). This former research initiative has been a 1.75 million dollar research project fund by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) commonly referred to as the Height and Modernization project.
