Description
KTDID stands for Kentucky Transportation Designs in Drainage and is KYTC’s hydraulic design software for culverts, ditches, inlets, and etc. The program is a DOS based application that is not supported under the Windows 7 environment. KYTC design personnel in central office and district offices are being or have been upgraded to Windows 7. Therefore, they are not able to use KTDID for in-house designs or check the validity of consultant’s calculations. Having a Microsoft Windows 7 compatible version of KTDID available to KYTC personnel would make the design/review process more efficient because everyone is familiar with the DOS version of the program. The project is intended to produce a version of KTDID that is compatible with the Windows 7 environment.
