SPR 14-51 Equipment Fund

The Account is established each year of our State Planning and Research (SPR) Program Plan each year. The Transportation Cabinet sets up a separate block of funding to be used to purchase whatever equipment we need to carry out the program (computers, laboratory equipment, test equipment, sensors, etc.). There are occasions where we will purchase a special item of equipment to be used for a single project, but that is rare. The normal process is for us to use our equipment account to purchase whatever equipment we need for the ongoing program.
