Grants and Contracts Details
Description
Current methods of protecting steeply sloped channels with riprap lead to constructability issues,
and the shear stresses calculated are greater than the pennissible shear allowed by the riprap design.
This research will provide a design approach and practical construction practice for the lining of
steep-sloped channels.
