SPR 16-524 Transportation System Preparedness and Resilience to Extreme Weather Events

Grants and Contracts Details

Develop a method to assess the vulnerability of assets to extreme weather events, including their vulnerability to the secondary and cumulative effects of these events on environmental factors such as soil geology and slope stability. • Perform a vulnerability assessment that identifies assets vulnerable to extreme weather events. • Incorporate the findings into KYTC's decision-making for planning, design, operations and mall1tenancc processes. • Develop a GIS-based data system compatible with existing Cabinet systems, and the extent of the pilot will initially include the assessment of the NHS as defined by MAP-21.
