Description
The goal of the Stanley Scholars Program is to attract intelligent, promising students into research careers in serious psychiatric diseases. Senior researchers are given a minimum of $15,000 a year to hire undergraduate and medical students to work vacations or part-time during the school year in their laboratories. It is hoped that by exposing the students to senior researchers and mentors and the exciting research taking place, students will elect to pursue a career studying serious psychiatric illnesses.
