Description
Collaborate with Kentucky Injury Prevention Research Center (KIPRC) to maintain the information technology (IT) infrastructure necessary to continue the transmittal of all Nationally Consistent Data and Measures to the National Environmental Public Health Tracking Network as per stated in the contractual agreement with Center for Disease Control (CDC), Award: CDC-RFA-EH14-140303, Maintenance and Enhancement of the Environmental Public Health Tracking Network. This is being accomplished through the Indicator-based Information System for Public Health (IBIS) platform.
2. Maintain their high quality of injury surveillance, prevention and research activities throughout the funding period. The funding of the State Injury Prevention Program (SIPP) supports KIPRC’s status as the Kentucky Department for Public Health’s agent for injury prevention and research. With this status KIPRC is allowed to apply for federal funds on behalf of the Department for Public Health (DPH). The SIPP funds assist in providing the infrastructure on which all KIPRC activities are based. Listed below are the responsibilities of the funded personnel:
