MCCC Communities of Hope RPG 7 Evaluation
Abstract
This project involves a partnership with Mountain Comprehensive Care Center (MCCC) on an
ACF grant application to continue a program (Communities of Hope) that provide activities
and services (including intensive outpatient substance use disorders treatment, integrated
mental/primary health care, recovery and family supports) through interagency collaboration
and integration of programs to increase well-being, improve permanency, and enhance the
safety of children who are in, or at risk of, an out-of-home placement as a result of a parent''s or
caregiver''s substance use in Floyd, Johnson, Magoffin, Martin and Pike counties. MCCC will
be contracting with UK BSC/CDAR to conduct the required program evaluation, which will
involve collecting data from parents participating in the Communities of Hope program and from
a community recruited comparison group.
