Strengthening Kentucky's Direct Marketing Network

Dr. Timothy Woods will participate on the advisory board and lead the project evaluation; Dr. Woods is an Extension Professor in the Ag Economics Department at UK and is the faculty director of the Center for Crop Diversification. He has worked nationally on projects involving farm markets, CSAs and on-farm retail and manages MarketReady, a commercial market training program for growers that has been offered in 17 states. He has over 30 years of experience working with produce markets of all kinds. He has provided assessment and evaluation for projects with USAID, USDA, and the KY Office of Ag Policy. He will commit 2.5% of his effort for the three-year duration of this project.
