The vendor will be assigned to provide a supplemental literacy intervention course. Students in the control group whose literacy skills are two or more grade levels behind at the end of the ninth grade will be served in a supplemental literacy intervention class in tenth grade. In addition, students in the ninth grade treatment group whose litereacy skills are still two or more grade levels behind at the end of the ninth grade are eleigible to receive additional services in the tenth grade.
