Description

Dr. Whiteheart, University of Kentucky, together with technical support, will breed the required mouse strains, and provide live mice (appropriate wild-type littermate controls and VAMP-8-/- and â3-/-) for the thrombosis studies. The mouse breeding and shipments will be under the supervision of the University of Kentucky IACUC. The proposed work will require maintenance of several mouse strains and their genotyping. Animals will be shipped directly to UAMS for analysis there. This work is required for the proposed work. A subaward to the University of Kentucky Research Foundation from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences will cover the costs of this work.
