Student Assistance

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet endeavors to recruit young engineers through various means such as the Cabinet's Scholarship Program. Some of those students and others have worked part time within the Kentucky Transportation Center facilities. Those students receive fInancial compensation, but more importantly, gain valuable experience. Cabinet offIcials are of the opinion that the Center is an excellent recruitment area for potentially promising engineers and have included a line item for support of part-time students. Financial assistance for student employees shall be for student salaries only and shall not include indirect costs.
