Subcontract with LSU PBRC Developing methodologies for BOLD/ASL MRI scans

Description

Dr. Brian Gold or designee(s) will assist in the development of acquisition protocols for BOLD/ASL MRI scans for the "Acute, Placebo Controlled, Double Blind, Crossover Study, Examining The Effects Of Avie-100 Towards Cognition And Brain Activation In Non-Demented Elderly Subjects" at Pennington Biomedical Research Center (PBRC). Dr. Gold and/or designee(s) will also analyze these scans using techniques developed in his laboratory. Dr. Gold and/or designee(s) will work with PBRC to develop methodology(ies) for BOLD/ASL MRI scans to be performed on the GE 3.0T MRI system at PBRC. The scan protocols will be designed as detailed in the "Acute, Placebo Controlled, Double Blind, Crossover Study, Examining The Effects Of Avie-100 Towards Cognition And Brain Activation In Non-Demented Elderly Subjects" study protocol. The scans will be analyzed by Dr. Gold and/or designee(s), and the analyzed data will be transferred to PBRC electronically.
