Grants and Contracts Details

Description

In this proposal the BCC proposes increased linkage to PrEP services including system navigation and linkage to care for persons at high risk for HIV. Funds are proposed to assist patients with barriers to PrEP services including transportation assistance and financial assistance for laboratory work associated with PrEP services. The KIRP Program proposes increased availability of and accessibility to HIV testing in health care and non-health care settings, as well as linkage to care for persons diagnosed with HIV infection. Funds are proposed to provide HIV and HCV testing through collaborations with syringe services programs and targeted outreach. Additionally, KIRP proposes HIV self-testing as well as HIV/Syphilis combination tests to address increases in syphilis. Finally, KIRP proposes to increase linkage to PREP services by implementing PrEP navigation for persons tested through targeted outreach that are identified as HIV-negative to ensure a status-neutral approach to HIV prevention and care.
