Description

The purpose of this Contract is for University of Kentucky Research Foundation (UKRF) to provide Kentucky Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Prevention Services in areas of Kentucky with the highest incidence of HIV/ Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) infections. The Kentucky HIV Integrated Care and Prevention Plan shall assist to reduce or prevent the transmission of HIV by reducing or preventing behaviors that place persons at risk for HIV infection. The KY Integrated Care and Prevention Plan shall also reduce associated morbidity and mortality of HIV-infected persons by increasing identification of HIV status and access to early medical intervention.
