This supplement request is for $3,000 plus 8% indirect costs for participant support costs, specifically trainee travel funds, associated with the outcome of the Poster Challenge at the 2010 annual IGERT PI Meeting May 23-25, 2010. Trainee posters at the annual meeting were judged in a Poster Challenge designed by NSF Division of Graduate Education personnel. Our supported trainee, Melissa Howard, was one of the 10 winners of the Poster Challenge for his/her poster entry titled "Solid Lipid Nanoparticles for the Delivery of Dexamethasone to Tumors", and received an award certificate from IGERT Program Directors at the IGERT Town Hall Meeting. This supplement request is to receive teh substantative part of the award, announced as $3,000 in travel funds for Melissa Howard to attend a orkshop, conference, short course, or engage in field wrok relevant to her project. Once completed, the supported travel will be reported in the web-based Annual Survey.
