Description

Primary objective: to determine whether the efficacy of stereotactic ventriculo-peritoneal CSF shunting (VPS) with medical therapy is superior to medical therapy alone or optic nerve sheath fenestration (ONSF) with medical therapy in reducing or reversing visual loss in subjects with idiopathic intracranial hypertension and moderate to sever visual loss. Secondary objective: To assess time to treatment failure over up to 3 years.
